Tanatchai Bandasak’s practice often begins with the act of gathering found materials—encountered through wandering, searching, and observing. These collected fragments—whether objects, images, or recorded footage—serve not as endpoints, but as openings into new artistic structures and narratives. Through subtle shifts and recontextualization, he proposes alternate ways of seeing, sensing, and understanding—approaches that remain in a state of flux, where meaning stays in motion, and materials become vessels for layered histories, temporal displacements, and quiet tensions that lie just beneath the surface.
