Thakol Khaosa-ad began his artistic practice painting, the original source of most of his paintings comes from photographs, mostly photojournalism taken from the internet, news clippings or the photos that he took himself. Thakol would then deal with those photographs by either cropping, enlarging, blurring, pixelating or abstracting them. Apart from painting, woodworking alongside is another practice that Thakol focuses on and shares the same process of arranging and adjusting elements, experimenting with various materials and forms. He continues developing these mediums together resulting in works that show us the relationship and the transmission of these two mediums.
